Ich habe ein CSS-Dropdown Menü erstellt:
http://web15.tony.kundenserver42.de/
Beim Firefox geht es (Dropdown nur bei "Joomla Übersicht" eingerichtet!
IE ignoriert das.
Ich habe es mit:
#mainmenue ul.menu li ul {
display:none;
und
#mainmenue ul li:hover ul, .menu ul a:hover ul {
display:block;
geregelt.

Bin am verzweifeln, grrh

Hallo Norbert

Nimm mal "<!--Designed by Norbert Gassner-->" weg, bzw. Setz es weiter unten in den Quellcode. Die erste Zeile muss mit der Deklaration beginnen.

Funktioniert nicht bei IE6
muss ich jetzt über ie6only.css regeln.
Aber wie?
ich habe jetzt
#mainmenue ul.menu li a:hover ul {
display:block;
}
drin.
Anstelle li:hover hier a:hover
Klappt aber trotzdem nicht

Also, mit IE8 sieht man da nichts im Menü.

By the way: Bei der Headline "Das Damenstudio in Rheine" mußt Du dringend was an der Typo machen.

Ne, klappt auf und ist orange. Aber die Schrift sieht man nicht.

Aufklappmenüs sind sowieso nicht beliebt, wenn man sie aufklappen muß, das weißt Du? Ich würde Dir empfehlen, das Menü rauszuhauen und dessen Inhalt, der ja das Angebot Deines Ladens ist und der Zweck der Seite, zum Content zu machen. Der ist nimmt 90 Prozent Deiner Seite ein und ist noch leer :) Der Besucher interessiert sich ja für Fitness, Reha und Wellness und nicht für Deine Webdesignkenntnisse. Eigentlich müßte der Besucher bereits auf der Homepage in Deinem Studio stehen.

Hi!Habe ein neues Menu erstellt. Funktioniert im Firefox auch wunderbar, nur im IE werden die Drop-Downs nicht angezeigt. Woran könnte das liegen? Wäre sehr dankbar für Hilfe, da ich das Menu wirklich klasse finde. Hoffe, mir kann jemand helfen. Bitte schreibt mir bitte ne kurze Mail per PM (E-Mail-Adresse gelöscht, FSt). Dann lasse ich euch die Dateien zukommen!

Ich poste jetzt mal die beiden Codes. Der erste ist der styles.css und der zweite dann eine HP-Seite mit dem Menu schon integriert. li:hover hat noch nie funktioniert im IE6 und wird es auch nie. IE6 interpretiert Pseudoklassen (:hover, :active usw.) nur für a-Tags. IE7 kennt immerhin die :hover-Pseudoklasse auch für andere Tags.

Es gibt Workarounds mit Java-Script (Anbindung von Events an die li:hover-Elemente) oder mit etwas komplizierten, aber Java-Scriptfreien Menu-Tabellen, welche speziell für IE6 zusätzlichen Tabellen-Code erzeugt.

Leider habe ich nicht die allergrößte Ahnung davon. Und wenn ich meine css durch den Validator schicke, werden mir zwar Fehler ausgworfen und berichtigt, doch dann wirds auch nicht besser...!Wäre cool, wenn ich irgendwie ne fertige Lösung hätte:-)Funktionsweise sollte auch weiterhin so sein wie im Firefox, nur eben im IE auch mit Dropdown!
