Man kann dies auch mit AppleScript Droplets tun.
Hier ein Beispiel für Photoshop: (ist übrigens nicht von mir, nur "eingedeutscht")

Das Droplet (oder Alias) kann man dann am beliebigen Ort ablegen, das Drag&Drop unterstützt, also Dock, Symbolleiste, Schreibtisch, wo auch immer.
Ich ändere z.B. oft Clips von "MACS" zu "drag", damit ich sie auch auf OS 9 öffnen kann.
