According to testers, Adobe removed GoLive 6's much-touted dynamic content functionality in the new version, leaving users with no easy way to build a database-driven Web site.
Adobe told users that it's focusing resources on other areas of the app, but long-time professionals and insiders are irate, some saying they won't upgrade, with other GoLive diehards taking a serious look at Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. As recently as one week ago, Adobe had not backed down from its decision, but complaints were still flying.
