So hier die Antwort von Petteri:
In my opinion, flash-based systems are very live and kicking. That was very hot topic in this year´s MAX Conference in Los Angeles few weeks ago. Tablet devices are coming very fast but we have to remember that they represent a very small percentage of all devices that are used for reading publications. And that´s going to be a case for very long time, years.
Every digital publishing tool manufacturer has to think about it anyway. Our team in eDocker has done that thinking too, and we have already started a new development process which hopefully will add new multidevice publishing features to eDocker. If we manage to do everything we have planned, sometime next year we will introduce new eDocker for publishing desktop device (computers, laptops) , iPad (iOS) and Flash tablet (Android, Windows Mobile yms) materials from one indesign document. Pretty much same way eDocker works now for desktop device materials....
We are not going to create a tool for creating separate apps that need to be installed, we are going to focus creating web-applications. Pretty much like eDocker does today. But more smart way.
Or maybe Adobe AIR is going to be one of the alternative platforms that can be used if web-app is not enough. Even current version of eDocker supports AIR. We have a flash file that can be used for publishing eDocker projects as Adobe AIR app. And after that, it can be delivered through Adobe Marketplace, Intel AppUpp or some other appstores.
I´m going to give more information about our plans as soon as I can.
Übersetzen tue ich das aber nicht jetzt... ;-)
